3 Ways To Stay Motivated This Winter
Winter can be a challenging time to stay motivated for exercise especially for women.
With the shorter days colder temperatures and darker mornings it's easy to let our fitness routine slide. However exercise is important for both our physical and mental well-being. Here are three of my favourite ways to stay motivated for exercise during the winter season!

Dress for Success

When it comes to exercising during the winter dressing appropriately is crucial. Invest in high-quality workout clothes that are designed to keep you warm and dry such as leggings long-sleeve tops and jackets. I suggest checking out our winter pieces including our Midnight Endurance Jacket, Midnight Eco Long Sleeve Cut Out Crop and Midnight Body Luxe Ultra High Waist Leggings with Pockets. These are guaranteed to keep you stylish yet warm on those cooler mornings. When you feel good in your activewear you'll be more motivated to hit the gym or go for a run.

Find a Workout Buddy

Exercising with a friend is a great way to stay motivated during the winter season. Find a workout buddy who shares your fitness goals and schedule regular exercise sessionstogether. Not only will you keep each other accountable but you'll also have fun and enjoy some social time during the colder months. If you’re like me sometimes you find yourself hibernating but this avoids that.

Mix It Up

Variety is key to staying motivated for exercise during the winter. Instead of doing the same workout routine every day mix it up by trying new activities. You can sign up for a fitness class join a running group or try indoor winter sports like basketball or volleyball. Mixing up your routine keeps things interesting and challenging which can help you stay motivated and engaged. No matter what I might recommend sometimes winter can be a moment for us to slow down with our exercise routine so honour your mood and take care of your body.
